Ripening 3-4 weeks ahead of the rest of the varieties that are all sold under the Pink Lady trademark, Early Pink Lady (Maslin strain®) is a bud sport, making it possible to grow this crunchy and fragrant fruit in maritime and other areas where the normal variety of Pink Lady won't fully ripen.
Also considered low chill; 400 hours to set fruit reliably.
